Booths Retail Group
Booths is a retail group, and was founded in 1847 by Edwin Henry Booth and has been serving the customer in local communities for over 160 years.
It has expanded from one man with a vision to its current staffing levels of 3000 and is still 5th generation family owned.
The company now trades as ‘Booths', and has 27 stores with a turnover in 2006 of over £257 million.
Each outlet is supplied largely from the Company’s distribution centre in Preston using its own transport and personnel.
The company offers a range of the best food and drink to all customers with a specialism for locally sourced products wherever possible.
Booths as a business have been working with Anterior Management, as a call off consultant for more than six months now.
In that time I personally have worked with Anne both in this capacity both on an individual basis working on development work for Ofsted preparation and also via NES and workshops.
As an individual I have benefited from the expertise Anne brings to the sessions as an inspector with Ofsted and also from her broad experiences with other organisations and also NES.
As a business we now have a more structured approach to the Ofsted inspection and a more effective self assessment report and quality improvement programme.
LSC West of England: 2007-2008 Apprenticeship Online project
In 2007-2008 evaluated the Apprenticeship Online project on behalf of the Learning and skills council in the West of England.
This was a pilot project which is to be rolled-out nationally from November 2008 across England and is now called the National Matching System for Apprentices.
This entailed analysing local and regional data, interviewing key stakeholders, working with the local authorities, LSC, Connexions and schools.
Anne was also asked to take over the Project Lead on behalf of the LSC to ensure the final phased roll-out incorporated the findings of the evaluation.
First UK Bus
Anne worked closely with First Bus in relation to our pilot Apprenticeship schemes and also in the lead up to Ofsted Inspection.
I found her knowledge, enthusiasm and encouragement all extremely helpful. She also made the whole experience fun. I valued her contribution greatly.

We have worked with Anterior Management for over 3 years. During this time we have gained many valuable insights and
very constructive ideas relating to how we could move our provision forwards. Making an overall assessment of our development,
