  • Development of strategic policies and structures for organisations such as employer engagement, procurement of sub-contractors
  • Work with providers to develop innovative ways to measure impact from training and benefits to business
  • Work closely with a provider on their EFQM submission

  • worked with four Learning and Skills Councils on their provider support programmes
  • worked directly for the National Learning and Skill Council
  • a major call-off consultant contract with the National Employer Service

  • supported many providers and colleges with the development of their self-assessment process and development planning
  • worked with many providers in the voluntary sector, FE and work-based learning on the development of existing processes and in preparation for inspection.

Anne Ashworth.

  • is the Managing Director of ANTERIOR Management Ltd
  • is a non executive director for Transworld Publications Ltd
  • is a lead consultant for NES Quality Improvement Support programme with national employers
  • delivers workshops on behalf of the LSC on inspection preparation and understanding success measures
  • writes learning programmes for health and social care
  • is an LSN consultant for the Quality Improvement team (work-based learning (formerly LSDA Support for success)
  • is a Tribal consultant for Quality Improvement work within the FE system
  • was a consultant for the Dfes Standards Unit as a Regional Practitioner for the West Midlands and South East Regions 2006-2007
  • Upto 2005 regularly chaired, presented and held workshops for the national training and conference organization, Tribal Education Solutions (Network Training)
  • complied the 2003 and 2004 national LSC work-based learning learner satisfaction survey sector report
  • has produced a good practice guide for Connexions on ‘Accreditation of Prior Learning’ in tandem with a series of training and development events for local providers in the use of APL and employers’ in-house training towards accredited qualifications
  • along with a team of AML consultants have worked on behalf of a local LSC to undertake its monitoring of a FE college’s emergency action plan following its re-inspection results
  • regularly works with senior managers in colleges and learning providers to develop improvement plans
  • has designed and delivered training for staff in self-assessment and continuous improvement and the introduction of good practice
  • identifies outstanding practice in her role as an inspector with ALI/OFSTED covering the further education, work-based learning, jobcentre plus and adult community learning sectors
  • used this experience to develop new programmes and improve practice with ANTERIOR Management and within other organisations
  • has 14 years of teaching and assessing experience in further education, adult community education and work-based training
  • has areas of expertise in accounting, administration, ICT, business, customer service, marketing, management, and training and development/teacher training
  • is a registered inspector with OFSTED for joint-remit inspections
  • has undertaken numerous inspections have been carried out under the new Common Inspection Framework, several of which have been OFSTED inspections of further education colleges

Anne is also undertaking a MSc in Human Resource Development and Performance Management is currently completing her Dissertation which focuses on ‘To what extent is apprenticeship uptake among young people in a mixed urban-rural area explained by the demand from employers seeking to appoint apprentices?’ This research will be published on the website later in the year.
